Biography
Founding member of IVB Athletics
Federation (BVIAAA), in 1970 and has been President since 1978.
He studied in Interamerican
University, Puerto Rico. Is also a founder member of IVB Olimpic Committee which
was formed in 1980 and server as its first President. Was reelected in 1989 and
has been at the helm ever since. Since 1974 is Chairman of CACAC Statistics
Committee. Is a member of ATFS.
Was awarded, in 2003, Veterans of the
IAAF Pin, for his contribution to the development of track and field in his
country and the region over the last 33 years. |

Datos biográficos
Miembro fundador de la
Federación de Atletismo de IVB (BVIAAA), en 1970. Es su Presidente desde 1978.
Estudió en la Universidad
Interamericana de Puerto Rico. También fue miembro fundador del Comité Olímpico
de IVB y fungió como su primer Presidente de 1980 a 1984. Fue reelegido en 1989
y ha estado en el cargo desde entonces. Desde 1974 es Jefe de la Comisión de
Estadísticas de CACAC. Es miembro de la ATFS.
Por su destacada labor en
pro del Atletismo en su país y en nuestra área en los últimos 33 años, la IAAF
lo premió, en el 2003, con su Sello de Veteranos. |
